[ Well, that was easier than he expected. Crowley's quite the open book, lately. ]

Is that so? [ Not a hint of doubt to him despite his choice in words, just the implied 'do you need to talk about it?'.]

I mean... yeah. I didn't choose to fall. I didn't wake up one day and say, oh yeah maybe today I'll just say fuck you to God and start a big row. I just messed up. I didn't meet expectations.

[ He shrugs. ]

I see. [ Kind of a dry answer, not that this has been the first time Crowley's mentioned the level of purposefulness in his falling. He looks thoughtful for a moment.

Despite all the times Aziraphale's casted on him an image well attributed to demons ever since the original fell, he doesn't quite feel the urge to do so at this time.

One could wonder why.

But one wouldn't wonder for very long, if they tried. ]

I suppose that can't be helped.

[ Which are probably not the right words for right now, but he doesn't know what else to say. ]

I don't want it to be helped.

[ He takes a drink, then swirls it around a bit while he thinks. ]

I didn't choose to fall. But I don't regret it, either. Because if I hadn't fallen, would I have even met you? Would I be here right now?

[ That, right there, catches him into a soft, coy smile. Because it's just that easy, sometimes. At least, it is now, for Crowley. ]

You do have a point.

I know. Which is why I'm fine. More than fine.

[ He settles back in his chair. ]

How else am I supposed to feel, with the one being in the universe who accepts me for who I am?

[ Crowley, you'll positively make him flustered with all that honey. People talk about demons and temptation, but no one talks about the straight up flattery and sweet talking.

If this is a way to avoid talking about certain things, it certainly seems to be working. ]

Oh, you.

[ He clears his throat. ]

It's not that difficult of a job as you put it, my dear. You're quite good company [ Says it in a light, affectionally jokish tone. ]

I dunno, I get told I'm a pain in the arse quite often. By you, even.

[ He does smile faintly, though. ]

Only when you are.

[ Hey, he's got jokes. ]

Oh, I know.

[ You'll never catch him pretending otherwise. ]

Anyway, falling was pretty awful at first, but then I met you. That's all. Not much of a punishment, falling in love.

[ There he goes again, somehow still catching the angel by surprise with very honest, very direct confessions of love. At least, nowadays, they can simply hang in the air, where they both can enjoy. It doesn't stop something within the angel's chest from fluttering, however.

He smiles sweetly, get sup and steps across the table to top up his tea from the kettle. But seems to think again, and stop by the demon instead, hesitating for a moment but then leaning down to press a gentle kiss in his hair. ]

I'm quite lucky you kept falling, my dear.

Well...

[ Aziraphale's kisses are always so nice. ]

I'm glad you... reciprocate.

[ He thinks about it some more, then reaches over to gently catch Crowley's chill and tilt his head up, so he can place another gentle kiss, this one on his lips.

Just getting it right, you see. ]

Will you be off somewhere today, dear?

[ That damned smile. Only because Crowley's worked so hard for it. ]

[ Oh yeah, that's even better. ]

I didn't have anything planned. Why, are you kicking me out? Going to actually open the shop?

Well, [ He considers it. ] I suppose I should do that at some point.

Unless you any other suggestions.

[ Crowley gives a faint smile. ]

Angel, I'm here to tempt you, every single day, to keep the shop closed and come back to bed with me.

[ He pretends to consider it, with betraying smile and all. ]

Well, it can't quite be helped, can it? With a wile old serpent thwarting my efforts in such a manner.

[ Crowley reaches out, grabs the front of Aziraphale's dressing gown (gently!) to tug him down into a proper kiss. ]

[ And a proper kiss he does get, complete with one of the angel's hands coming up to gently cradle the side of his face.

OH, at this rate, who knows when the shop will ever open again...]

[ It's not like Aziraphale ever sells any books, anyway. Even if the shop was open, Crowley would probably hang around in snake form scaring all the humans away.

So instead he's just going to kiss his angel breathless. ]

[ It looks like Crowley is very hard at work in keeping the angel's books exactly where they are. He does quite appreciate the help.

And it should take more of an effort to leave an angel breathless, but, you know, demons and their evil ways.

When he does pull back, - not far, by that matter - he is indeed flustered and smiling in a way he's practically swooning. Give him a moment to gather his thoughts. ]

You mentioned going back to bed...?

I did.

[ Crowley is certainly very proud of himself for tempting the angel into sloth as often as he does. He doesn’t think Aziraphale ever spent much time sleeping or lying around in bed before.

But it is very nice, lounging around with a very lovely, very soft angel. Even if he has to wait for said angel to fold his dressing gown neatly before snogging him again.

It’s almost funny, how much time they spend lying in bed, half-naked and kissing, and the subject of sex still hasn’t come up. Or maybe not so funny. Crowley figures they’ll get around to it eventually. ]

[ Perhaps the angel truly has fallen, because his habits have changed almost drastically ever since they chose to share a living space. Which, well, as far as actual normal living spaces go, Aziraphale just kept himself to the bookshop. He didn't even have a bed to lazily lounge on.

It's a welcomed change, all for the company and shared comfort. And, well, the snogging is clearly not bad. Not bad at all. Quite enjoyable actually.

He might have just given into the demon's tempting, a little bit.]

Well...shall we get on?

[ Crowley is already pulling him to the bedroom, pushing that dressing gown off his shoulders as they go. ]

We could take a holiday, if you want. [ He lets the angel do the folding, very patient of him before he goes in for a proper kiss. ]

A holiday? Where to?

[ He's barely done setting the gown down on a chair before he's kissed again, and he instinctively rests a hand on Crowley's arm, just holding onto it gingerly. ]
