It'll be too big for my flat, if I'm not careful.

[ He smiles faintly. ]

Oh, you have plenty of space in that flat of yours.

[ Aziraphale smiles at him. Then, looks around.]

And if you need some extra space for them, you could always…move them here?

[ Crowley mutters, sputters and scuffs again. ]

Wouldn't want to impose.

[ The angel puts it gently. ]

Right. Yeah. I'll, uh. Keep it in mind.

[ Crowley fidgets again, but smiles. ]

Yeah, so, I'll - I suppose you want us to take the train?

[ The angel feels the urge to step closer to the demon again, but he stays himself. He'll be more reserved.]

I do like trains. [ He states matter-of-factly.]

But...I'm assuming you'd prefer to take the Bentley?

It'd get us there faster. Got plenty of room in the boot for all your luggage.

[ He rubs at the back of his neck. ]

But I know you like trains.

[ Which is his way of saying that he'll go along with whatever Aziraphale prefers, he just might bitch about it in his usual way. ]

Well...

[ He does like trains. But he wants Crowley to be comfortable. And he is the most comfortable behind the wheel of his beloved Bentley.]

We could take the car. If we make plenty of stops.

We could - make it a sightseeing tour. I'll even go slow enough to actually see some sights. Maybe.

[ Now he's back on a bit firmer ground, smiling faintly, sitting back down on the sofa. ]

[ Aziraphale smiles brightly, very pleased about this pleasant compromise.]

Sounds perfect. [ He goes and sits on his desk chair again, and the mood in the shop feels lighter, brighter.]

Oh this is so exciting.

[ Yeah it is. Crowley is already looking up potential routes on the GPS on his phone. ]

When should we leave? Tomorrow?

[ He could probably get up and leave now if the angel was willing, but he has a feeling Aziraphale will want to actually pack, or do whatever it is humans do to prepare for a holiday. ]

Perfect. I’ll need need to pack some things. I’m sure I have bags somewhere.

[ Crowley assumed correctly, of course.]

Some light reading, of course. Not much need for coats, I bet.

Uh-huh. Light reading.

[ Crowley smirks a bit, falling easily back into his old habits - of ribbing the angel every chance he gets. ]

And have Maggie or someone collect the post while you're gone, eh?

Oh yes, excellent point. I do believe I don't have anything of great importance coming in, but, just in case.

[ Before he even finishes that sentence, he's already getting up again and moving towards the dusty computer desk, checking some of his papers. He then looks up, thinking.]

Now where did I put that luggage set?

Upstairs? That's where you keep all the stuff you never use.

Right! Right.

[ Now he’s rather giddy and a bit flustered, thinking about all the things he should do before they depart. He takes a few false start steps, muttering some lists under his breath.]

Alright, I should. Get to all of that.

Don't forget to pack your bathing suit.

[ Crowley smiles faintly. ]

Oh, dear me, I haven't even seen that in decades.
